The Neertha Law Association is the alumni body of graduates of the Neertha Diploma in Law. We carry the work of the Academy forward — guiding entrants to Law College and the Open University LLB, opening chambers to apprentices, and keeping a fellowship among those already at the Bar.

Who We Are
The Largest Law Diploma Family In Sri Lanka
“Neertha” was started in 2009 for thousands of students looking forward to entering the legal profession. Launched by 13 students in Nugegoda and 07 in Kandy, the Neertha Law Entrance Class is today the only institution in Sri Lanka conducting classes in both Sinhala and English mediums across 10 districts.
The Academy has produced the first place (Sinhala medium) in the Law College Entrance Examination in both 2018 and 2019, and the second and fifth places (English medium) in 2019. This Association exists so that every graduate of that classroom keeps a fellowship behind them long after the results are out.

“The Diploma was never meant to end at the examination hall. What began as a classroom in Nugegoda has become a profession-wide fellowship, and it falls to each intake to keep that door open for the one behind it. That is the whole purpose of this Association.”
